A Greener Tomorrow-10,000 trees planted

Trees are important, which is why every purchase plants a tree! That is our pledge and promise at DS Laser Engraving, and three years later, over 10,000 trees have been planted in forests across the United States because of your support.

You helped to make this amazing number possible!

We team up with experts who plant trees that will help to restore natural ecosystems because we want others to be able to roam, explore, and enjoy the tree-filled wilderness.

We also want to take care of mama earth!

From the air we breathe to the water we drink, trees play a vital role in keeping our planet healthy. They help clean the air we breathe by absorbing harmful pollutants and producing oxygen, cool our cities and homes by providing shade, prevent soil erosion, and contribute to our economy. Here are just a few of the many benefits of trees.

Trees and Soil Health

Trees are integral to the health of our soils. Their roots help to aerate the soil and their leaves provide organic matter that helps to improve soil structure. In addition, trees help to control erosion by stabilizing the ground with their roots. This is especially important in areas where there is a lot of rainfall or where there is frequent flooding. Trees also play a role in landslides and avalanches. By stabilizing the ground and holding the soil in place, trees help to prevent these natural disasters from occurring. They also help conserve water by reducing runoff and slowing down rainfall. As an added bonus, all that mulch from fallen leaves helps keep the soil moist and rich in nutrients.

Trees Clean the Air

Trees are nature’s air purifiers. They absorb harmful pollutants like carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen dioxide from the air and release clean oxygen. In one year, an acre of mature trees can absorb enough carbon dioxide to equal the amount produced by driving a car for 26,000 miles! Not to mention, all that extra oxygen helps to protect the ozone layer.

Trees Cool Our Cities and Homes

On a hot summer day, the temperature inside a home with large shade trees can be 20-30 degrees cooler than the temperature outside. That’s because trees release water vapor into the air which then evaporates and cools the surrounding air. In cities, large trees can lower temperatures by as much as 10 degrees Fahrenheit!

Trees Contribute to Our Economy

Trees impact our economy in a number of ways. For starters, they increase property values—homes with mature trees have been shown to sell for up to 20% more than homes without them. Trees also save energy costs by cooling our homes naturally and reducing the need for air conditioning. And finally, they create jobs—in fact, hundreds of thousands of people are employed in the tree industry in America!

The bottom line is this: trees are essential to the health of our planet. Not only do they provide us with oxygen, but they also help to regulate the temperature of the planet, purify the air, prevent erosion, and stabilize the ground. As you can see, trees do a lot for us! Our next goal is to plant 20,000 trees.
